SAHA undertakes short or long-term collaborations with various international institutions, enhancing international networks and thus contributing towards Turkey’s engagement in contemporary art.

Collaborating institutions

De Appel
(2019–2020)

As part of its collaboration with De Appel in Amsterdam, SAHA supports the participation of a curator from Turkey, invited to the Curatorial Program. De Appel is an Amsterdam based contemporary art institute that brings together people, objects and ideas to explore the unknown. With an experimental, open-minded and inclusive focus, the programs of De Appel serve the intellectually and emotionally curious, (non-) specialized art enthusiasts as well as seasoned art professionals.

2019-2020: Naz Kocadere

Rijksakademie
(2014-2015; 2017-2018; 2019-2020)
In partnership with Rijksakademie in Amsterdam, SAHA supports an artist from Turkey for two years at Rijksakademie. Rijksakademie, a leading arts institution that opened in 1870, initiates partnerships for the studios it offers as part of its residency program and hosts more than 50 artists every year in collaboration with other instiutions.

Ashkal Alwan
(2015–2019)
In partnership with Ashkal Alwan, SAHA supports the participation of artists from Turkey at Homeworks Space Program. The Lebanese Association for Plastic Arts, Ashkal Alwan is a non-profit organization based in Beirut. Since 1993, the association has been committed to the production, facilitation and circulation of creative and intellectual endeavors across a range of disciplines and media.

Delfina Foundation
(2013–2019)
SAHA established a partnership with the Delfina Foundation in London. In this respect, SAHA supports a studio at the Delfina Foundation for the researchers, artists and curators. The Delfina Foundation is an independent, non-profit organisation dedicated to facilitating artistic exchange through residencies, partnerships and public programming.
