Studio Conversations brings together alumni of the SAHA Studio program over the course of ten months to explore ten different topics alongside participants who contribute a range of perspectives to each discussion.
Experiencies: Residency Programs
The second gathering in the Studio Conversations series brings together four speakers who, alongside their diverse residency experiences, have participated in programs at different institutions with SAHA’s support. The conversation features Gözde İlkin, who took part in the Tate St Ives residency program and whose solo exhibition opened at the institution this month; Sevil Tunaboylu (9th Term), who was in New York as a resident at the Swiss Institute from April to June; Dilek Winchester (2nd Term), who worked in Basel during May and June as part of SAHA’s collaboration with Atelier Mondial; and curator Alper Turan, who conducted research in Berlin and Athens through collaborations with Slavs and Tatars and Artworks. Taking place on 28 October at 6:00 pm, the conversation considers the role of artistic research and exchange programs in professional development and reflects on experiences across different contexts.
