A Pillar Of Smoke : A Look At Turkey’s Contemporary Scene

SAHA provided support for the artists invited to A Pillar of Smoke, organized as part of Rencontres d’Arles.

SAHA provided support for 140 Journos, Halil Altındere, Volkan Aslan, Kürşad Bayhan, Cihan Demiral, Sinem Dişli, Çağdaş Erdoğan, Nilbar Güreş, Korhan Karaoysal, Ali Kazma, Nar Photos, Desislava Şenay Martinova, Ali Taptık, Cengiz Tekin, Furkan Temir and Mehmet Ali Uysal, who are invited to participate at A Pillar of Smoke: A Look At Turkey’s Contemporary Scene held between July 2 and September 23, 2018.

The exhibition A Pillar of Smoke: Notes from Contemporary Turkey curated byIlgin Deniz Akseloğlu and Yann Perreau comprises works from nineteen artists from Turkey , who have strong bonds with the environment they live in. These environments are different places from Diyarbakir to Istanbul, from Trabzon to Central Anatolia.
