June - December 2024 term begins at SAHA Studio

SAHA Studio is hosting five artists from Istanbul, Mardin, and Izmir for its 8th term between June and December 2024 at its location at Istanbul Manifacturers' Center (İMÇ). Hüseyin Aksoy, Betül Aksu, Kıymet Daştan, Nadir Sönmez, and Zeynep Yılmaz were selected among the applications received in the first open call of SAHA Studio, by the advisory and selection committee consisting of Eda Berkmen, Taner Ceylan, and Serra Yentürk.

Operating in Beyoğlu between 2019-2023, SAHA Studio has so far provided 39 different artists and artist groups with the opportunity to produce works, receive feedback, learn together, organize events, and develop new connections for 6-9 months. İMÇ, where the SAHA Studio program was restructured in three different spaces, continues to be a complex with ties to visual art and artists with its modern artworks, the 9th Istanbul Biennial it hosted in 2007, and independent art initiatives working in different shops.
