Offering its participants opportunities for feedback, collaboration and co-learning, as well as curatorial support in addition to the research, production and presentation budget for their new projects in an interactive workspace, through the contribution of SAHA’s domestic and international partnerships, SAHA Studio starts the new term with five new artists.
The members of the 2023-2024 SAHA Studio Selection Committee, namely SAHA director Çelenk Bafra, curator Kevser Güler, and artist Ali Kazma have selected the artists to participate in two terms of this year’s program from among 38 candidates.
Cansu Çakar, Burak Delier, Merve Ertufan, Burak Kabadayı and Evrim Kavcar are to participate in the fifth term of SAHA Studio between March and September 2023. Furthermore, in collaboration with Athens-based ARTWORKS and New York-based Artis, SAHA is to host curators and researchers from Greece and Israel in Istanbul.2023-2024
