SAHA Studio opens its doors with new artists

SAHA Studio focuses on providing opportunities for learning, interaction and production to artists and curators from Turkey and abroad and strengthening their global networks and connections. SAHA Studio opens its doors to visitors from June 15^th through June 19th. Studio spaces of SAHA’s third term artists Yasemin Nur, Onur Gökmen, Ege Kanar, Bengü Karaduman and Merve Ünsal are open to visitors by appointment, every day between 13:00 and 19:00, from Tuesday June 15th through Saturday June 19th under health and safety guidelines. Works of artists and curators who have been conducting research and production at SAHA Studio with the invitation of the selection committee, Gülsün Karamustafa, Özge Ersoy and Çelenk Bafra, will be on display in September.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet Eva Vaslamatzi, SAHA Studio’s guest curator who is conducting her research in Istanbul until July in collaboration with ARTWORKS in Athens, and Murat Alat, SAHA Studio’s resident writer and programmer for 2021. Visitors can also learn more about the projects, collaborations and initiatives of SAHA – Supporting Contemporary Art from Turkey, celebrating its 10th year anniversary this year.
