SAHA Studio's 9th Term is Beginning

The 9th term of SAHA Studio, which aims to support the creative environments of artists from Turkey and enhance their interaction with international art institutions and actors, is starting! For the January - June 2025 period, the program will host five artists: Mert Acar (Ankara), Mathilde Melek An (Istanbul), Nejbir Erkol (Mardin), Merve Tuna (Istanbul), and Sevil Tunaboylu (Istanbul).

Operating in Beyoğlu from 2019 to 2023, SAHA Studio has so far provided 44 different artists and artist groups with opportunities for production, feedback, collaborative learning, events, and networking for periods of 6-9 months. Now restructured across three different spaces within İMÇ, SAHA Studio continues to be a hub for visual arts and artists, benefiting from its modern art collection, its hosting of the 9th Istanbul Biennial in 2007, and its connections with independent art initiatives in various shops.
